The Federation of Ugandan Football Associations has set Saturday, August 21, 2021 as the day for the presidential election of the body.
The elections, in which the incumbent Eng. Moses Magogo against two rivals, including shadow sports minister Allan Ssewanyana and Proline FC owner Mujib Kasule, will be guests in Mbale.
This is the 97th time that FUFA has held its ordinary and electoral assembly that begins with the election of the President.
« The Executive of Fufa approved the Football Association of the East Region to host the 97th Ordinary General Assembly of Fufa in Mbale City on August 21, 2021. The same assembly will elect the new president and the new executive of Fufa for a term of four years ”, it says partly in a statement of the association.
The three people who have so far shown interest in the top position of FUFA are expected to complete their nomination exercise on May 31st.
