Jess Redden and her fiancé Rob Kearney are delighted to be released after a two-week quarantine in a hotel room in Australia.
The couple, who got engaged in December 2019, moved out recently to Perth because Rob signed with the Australian rugby union Western Force.
In Australia everyone who comes to the country or travels from certain Australian states has to be quarantined for 14 days in a government-selected hotel for which he also has to pay.
The couple couldn’t even open the window in their hotel room during the quarantine, revealed Jess.
« We got a hotel at the airport, so we only found out when we landed. I can’t wait to get some fresh air in 13 days, « said Ms. Redden.
Jess, a 27-year-old fitness model and student pharmacist, actively documented the couple’s struggle in a Brisbane hotel room after completing their 14-day quarantine.
The couple ended their 14 days of isolation yesterday and Redden was absolutely thrilled to be free.
« 2 weeks without air and I can’t convey the gratitude I have this morning for the sun on my skin.
» Whatever you do today, I hope it even brings you one Shimmer of the abundance of joy I feel today. Lots of love, « Ms. Redden said on Instagram.
Jess said arriving from Ireland at Brisbane Airport was the » strangest experience « and she felt that she was treated like they had the plague.
« It was the strangest experience I had, like we had the plague or something !! » She wrote about her stories.
« We were all transported by bus and escorted by officers (who are very nice!). They take you to your room and guard your floor every day and night.
Regarding food, she explained that guests have three meals a day, but they can order takeout to their room.
As two fitness fanatics, Jess shared a video of herself walking 3 miles in the hotel room ran while 34 year old Rob used her bed as a barbell to do chest presses.
She added, « Determined to stay physically and mentally fit and healthy these 14 days. »
The pharmacy student who is currently on hiatus to join her fiancé Down Under did yesterday published a photo of City Beach in Perth entitled « And Breathe. »
The couple now have a month to acclimate before Western Force kicks off their super rugby season on February 19th.
